Who we are

This website is run by The Micropigment Studio LLC, 580 El Camino Real, Suite 3, Santa Clara, California 95050. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at jmicropigment@gmail.com or (831) 251-7229.

Information you send us through our forms

Our contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address and a message. Our medical questionnaire asks for your name, the date, your phone number, an emergency contact and their phone number, and your answers to health history questions. Our after care form asks for your first and last name and your confirmation that you have read your after care recommendations. None of our forms accept file uploads.

When you send a form, it is delivered to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service, and a copy is kept in a private Google Sheet that only the studio and its website provider can open, so that no message is lost. We use what you send only to answer you, to plan and provide your treatment safely, and to keep our treatment records. Health information is used only for treatment planning and safety and is never sold or shared for marketing.

We keep form messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep client records, and then delete them. You will not receive marketing emails because you sent a form.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people and automated spam apart without a puzzle, and a hidden field that only automated programs fill in. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device to do this.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website, on our own web address only. It loads after you first interact with a page or a few seconds after the page has loaded, and Google may set cookies to tell repeat visits apart.

We also use a cookie-free page-view counter run by RankShark, which records only the page address, the referring page or site and any campaign tag in the link. It sets no cookies. The IP address is used only momentarily to block abuse and is never stored.

Services from other companies on our pages

Booking: our Book Today buttons open Vagaro, our online booking provider, in a new tab, and our Book Online page shows Vagaro’s booking calendar. When you book, Vagaro handles your details under its own privacy policy.

Financing: our Financing Available page shows an application widget from Cherry, a payment plan provider. The widget loads when you approach it on the page, and any application you make is handled by Cherry under its own privacy policy.

Maps and videos: a Google map and our YouTube videos are shown only after you press the map or a video. Until then no request is made to Google or YouTube. Videos play through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.

Reviews: our home page shows our Google reviews through Fouita, a review display service. The reviews are third-party content.

Google preferred source button: some pages show Google’s button for choosing us as a preferred source in Google Search. Its script comes from Google and loads only when the button is about to be seen.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics and the services above may set their own cookies when they load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website still works without them.

Hosting and security

This website is hosted on Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and protects the site from attacks. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages safely.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information such as health information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
